If the wind blows strongly out of SSE, Perkins Beach is a crazy place to Paraglide. The flight zone is at the western end of its "sister" Mutton Bird. Crazy feeling to be lifted into the air so quickly from such a small sand dune.

Ideal for the beginner. It offers over a kilometers in length and a wide wide beach between the water and the dunes. Take caution with the trees and the wind mills behind the dunes.

Anfahrt:
From Albany take the Lower Denmark Road in the direction of Denmark (approx. 25km). Then turn left into Perkings Road in the direction of the beach with the same name. At the end you will find the parking place, with a path leading directly to the beach.
Sonstiges:
Albany is 400km south of Perth. It is a large coastal region with all wind directions. It is know as one of the best flying locations in Western Australia if you want to spend a couple of crazy hours in the air.
