Pura Pasar Agung
Der Tempel Pura Pasar Agung wurde bei Sebudi im Regierungsbezirk Karangasem in ca. 1.600 m Höhe auf dem Gunung Agung errichtet. Er ist der höchstgelegenste, zweitgrößte, älteste und heiligste hindhuistische Tempel Balis. Er wurde das erst Mal im Jahre 109 unserer Zeitrechung im "Lontar Pelelintih Kewentenan Gununge Ring Bali" erwähnt. Das genaue Baujahr ist nicht bekannt, da der Tempel im Jahre 1963 beim letzten Ausbruch des Gunung Agung vollständig zerstört und danach wieder neu erbaut wurde. Man vermutet, daß er im Jahre 89 errichtet wurde. Der Überlieferung nach trafen sich vor langer Zeit die Sanghyang Tri Sakti, bestehend aus den Göttern Dewi Danu (Gunung Batur), Bhutara Putranjaya (Gunung Agung) und Sanghyang Genijaya (Gunung Lempuyang) an der Stelle, an der später der Tempel erbaut wurde. Sie beschlossen, dort einen Markt (Pasar) für die Götter zu errichten. Der Tempel erhielt den Namen Pura Pasar Agung.

At sunset, hundreds of people visit the spectacular though small temple of Tanah Lot which is situated on the top of a volcanic cliff. As in ancient times, rice is still cultivated in the traditional way and ox and plough traverse the fields. Sun drenched beaches, cloud-kissed volcanoes, exquisite ethnic architecture and dreamy temples - it's no wonder that Bali is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in East Asia.

Bali honeymoon
The beginning was about a temple, built long time ago, using its natural spring water to bless the local people. People bath in the spring to obtain it's blessing. Then, we visited an orchard to the local fruit as well as Bali coffee seeds (the one in green leaves). After that, we visited the Gunung Batur, a dormant volcano...splendid view...we even went down to it's valley hoping to see its hot spring but was disappointed when it was more like a "long kang" with few lakia kids swimming in it...
