7 Wonders of India: Raigarh Fort
Located in Raigad district of Maharashtra at an altitude of 2700 ft, Raigad fort is located in the Sahyadri mountains. Perched atop a wedge-shaped block of hill, split off from the Western Ghats, it is inaccessible from three sides. The fort's ruins consists of the queen's quarters, consisting of six chambers, with each chamber having its own private commode with plumbing. The main palace was constructed using wood.

Rapids to Ropeway
on 2nd September I had my first experience of doing river rafting. It was a 12 km stretch on Kundalika river interspersed with grade 4 Rapids. It took us around 2 hrs to complete the stretch, but those 2 hours were the one of the most enjoyable moments of my life. I have decided to this activity every 2 months now. After drying our selves up we set out to Raigad Fort, the capital fort od Chatrapathi Shivaji, the maratha king. You need to reach the top of the fort through a 10 minute ropeway ride. While the rope way cabins lifts you into the skies fear starts to settle in but as soon as you see the breathtaking scenery around you just forget all your worries.. i hope the video is an apt visual representation of my experience.

This is the fort Raigad, capital of the Shivaji Empire, there are 2 baggis of the ropeway and if we sit on the 1st baggi while coming to base station from this height, the view is dangerous one, as we cant see any support to our baggi we get scared also
