Bank holiday picnic & some paragliding, Nairn & family
Out with Nairn & Rory his ground handling assistant! Along with the rest of the family (Ta for the picnic food ;-) for a bit of (light/variable x-wind) ground handling brush up on the grass before heading to Lunan to do a bit of flying/exploring of new flying sites, making the most of the very limited lift. Precision Paragliding providing an alternative to the BHPA since the late 90's for BHPA & ex-BHPA pilots wishing to RE-train or new pilot entering the sport who do NOT wish to risk the standards/accident rates produced by 'normal' PG theory, practices & procedures!

Paragliding in the evening, south bank of the Tay
Towards the end of his training Scott evening flying in a fresh north wind at a couple of the clubs site 10 mins drive from work/home :-)

Paragliding- River Tay MicroClimate (Spring)
Precision Paragliding... Video clip showing the effect the water/land temprature can have, at certain times of the year, and in certain conditions, on highly localised variations variations in the wind (or lack of). At the end of the clip in the space of 5 mins the fresh North 'pressure' wind (Isobars) that has been a constant feature at the Dundee side of the river 'punches through' (and down through) the air mass sitting over the river and south bank area.
