Pilot Beach, 50 Meter

Great flying site located on a mountain near the ocean. It can be dangerous to land when there is a strong sea breeze. Please do not land on the Football oval. Pure pleasure with at least fifteen minutes flying time.

High flying directed to the north side, you will not find simple flying conditions at this site. Because the country side is large and wide this site can be flown all year round.

Lovely green flying site. The best time for flying is between August and April. Take notice of the high trees, so not to be surprised when flying. There are problems with local farmers especially for Paragliders.

Be careful when flying with a NW wind and the Powerlines . Early in 2004 a new flying record was set here with a 40km inland flight. Also other attempts include 3 pilots flew across land over 90kms with a hight 2.700m to Kempsy.

With a North facing start that is best used between September to March. Please take care with the road and the powerlines.

Splendid coastal flying site with a wide flat beach. Very nice for flying. Please fly only in the recommended direction of the wind, to be sure you will not be brought to the reef where you can not land.

- SE: A flying site that everone enjoys. No hinderences or obstructions and is all round friendly to the pilot. Situated on the beach with light dunes, great wind, in a naturally beautiful place. Pure fun, you cant ask for much more.
- NE: Good but not so great for flying as from the SE...

It is important to observe and allow for above all the quickly changing coastal wind! This is different from beach to beach! As with strong wind, it is difficult to start. Please only Paraglide in easy wind! In addition there are alot of people on the beach in the summer and many powerlines !

This inland flying site has ideal conditions for the Paraglider! During wet conditions please do not drive up to the flying site as you will easily get bogged.

Fantastic inland flying site! Becareful when landing as there are powerlines all over the place!
