Heute fliegt man hier nicht mehr so oft, was an der knorrigen Straße und der Entfernung von Salt Lake City liegt (2 Stunden). Für Bergneulinge bietet Camels jedoch eine schöne Thermik.

Sonstiges:
Utah bietet mehr Fluggebiete als man im Jahr fliegen kann und viele sind noch unentdeckt. Wie überall empfiehlt es sich, bei den „locals“ nach den besten Plätzen und ihren Besonderheiten zu fragen. Der beste Ansprechpartner ist hier Ken Hudonjorgensen, Chef von Two-can Fly Paragliding und einer der erfahrensten Piloten und Lehrer des Landes.

Der Berg wurde aufgetan um einen Osthang an entsprechenden Tagen zu haben. An sich nicht der beste Platz der Gegend aber besser als am Boden zu bleiben. Weiteres Plus ist der Landeplatz, denn den findet ihr überall.
