Several of the last Class 2 championships have been so
undersubscribed they have been barely viable as a team competition at least. It
was agreed that from 2007 there will no longer be a team championship. As long
as the General Section minimum representation requirements are met, the
championship will continue to be valid, to determine the individual champion,
after which the situation will be reassessed.
