On the way up to the Marshall launch the other day (I love these
California shuttle services) Rob told me about how he started his question of

He had observed that the deaf pilots that he had trained had developed their own
this flying sub culture that didn't interact as well as he thought should be the
case with the wider community of pilots and that the information sharing that is
so important to pilot development was not happening as well with them.


So  one way across the communication barrier was to provide the information
in written form, and to ensure that folks got the message make it the key to
something that they wanted.
