After several years assisting competitions of different flying
modalities to facilitate the difficult task of scoring competitors progresses,
CompeGPS Team has to give up this exciting project as of 31st December 2006.


The main reason that forces us to take this unpleasant decision is the economic
nonviability of a program that requires considerable human resources to be
updated in response of continuous changes that appear in this sector.


The high cost in development and support, added to the lack of help received
from official entities and the limited economical potential of this economic
segment, requires a great effort that CompeGPS Team can not maintain further.


Therefore, we decided not to put more resources in CompeGPS Competition. It is
not planned to publish new updates and technical support can not be guaranteed
from , so we
recommend to use Competition section of our
user's forum for consultations.


Competition licenses will be available to purchase from shop section of our web
page, but you should take into account that the lack of new updates and
technical support may cause serious difficulties working with this application.


We deeply regret the inconvenience that this situation may cause. CompeGPS takes
this unpleasant decision forced by circumstances and for the good of the
company.
