One big layer. Multiple layers start to peel at the edges after a
while. Do it in one big pour, full strength unthinned, try to get at least 3/16
inch or you'll be redoing it soon.


Spread initially with a card just to get it in the right area then work it with
your fingers. Keep 'em wet. Move the high areas to the low areas and fill in the
fabric seams so everything is level. Try to make it thin and almost seamless at
the edges so it doesn't want to lift later.


Work it nonstop. Make sure you have a couple hours before you start. Prop the
boot pointed up and keep an eye on it. When it starts to sag, flip it down.
Repeat. Smooth out any heavy sags before it dries on the surface.


Don't fly it for a couple days, it takes forever for the goo to dry in the deep
areas. Wear a glove if you think shoe goo will be what kills you.
