The New South Wales State Titles - day seven, task five
http://ozreport.com/ozweather.php
The results are up (or will tomorrow) at the soaring spot: http://www.soaringspot.com/nswst2008/
The conditions started out weak around Mt. Borah. Folks were landing in the bomb out. Conrad was hanging out below launch in zero sink. Dave Seib landed in the bomb out paddock. Scott Barrett top landed when the sun went away and waited until Conrad Lotten started climbing again before launching again.
Scott and Conrad landed twenty seven kilometers out from the launch when they felt it was too windy to go low over the hill country. Jon Durand landed at 40 km as Jonny pulled away and was the only one to make goal.
I crashed on launch again (the big idiot) and this time I hurt my ligaments on my knee. More on that later. Results not done late tonight, thirteen pilots still not checked in.
