I reported earlier on a bug that I encountered in my Flytec 6030 http://ozreport.com/12.012#2 (it would be the same in the Compeo, 5030, 5020, and Compeo +) that gave the wrong altitude for arrival at goal around a turnpoint. I reported the bug to Flytec and they believe that they have found the cause and fixed it. Erich Lerch <<email>> writes:

I have a new beta version of the software that is supposed to fix this problem as well as another one associated with the UTC date line which could affect New Zealand and Australian pilots. I have the beta fix with me in Manilla, NSW and can supply it to pilots who are willing to fly with beta software.
