Are all the pilots listed below this on the web page referred to above:

Below are the teams that have entered Pilots via Priority team registration : Not all the Pilots have completed the Pilot registration form yet!

Assumed to be registered already (i.e. they count in the total of the pilots who have priority for the 120 slots)? Even if they haven't completely filled out the registration form?

If a pilot does individual registration on December twentieth are they behind these guys who haven't fully registered?

Are the Russians really going to come? They said they were to the 2007 Worlds in Big Spring and then never showed up without saying a word.

Are the Irish pilots registered?

Brian writes back:

The pilots that appear in the team boxes on the pilot list page are all the names that have been submitted by team leaders etc and are eligible for priority registration. The pilots that appear on the list above are all the pilots so far that have filled out the pilot rego form and, provided they pay by the 19th December 2007, they have a place. We are aware that some of the pilots have not filled out the form yet.

If pilots do not fill out the form nor pay for their place, then their slot will be open to be taken by someone who registers after 20th December.

We will chase team leaders and pilots with a final email and if we get no response then we will be re-allocating their places. To be fair to the pilots who register after 20th December, we will not wait very long. To be fair to teams who have contacted us, and really are trying to organise bank transfers for payment, etc, we will try not to be too harsh!

Initially pilots who sign up after the 20th, at the general registration, will go on a waiting list which will be acessible from the pilot list page, and will be show in the order of registration. We will then contact pilots individually, as places become free, to give them the deadline for payment.

Irish - still no names

Russians - no word yet.

BTW, the Austrian team registration is all screwed up. Here is one explanation of what happened:

We (the Austrian team) would actually have registered already if this was possible. But, if you go to the Pre-Worlds website for individual and team registration, you will find that one cannot register Austrian team pilots anymore, because Seppi Salvenmoser (without talking to the Austrian team) has already entered himself as the only pilot and contact person.

Now you should know, Seppi is not really trying to act in behalf of the Austrian team - he probably just made a mistake on registration.

However, this shows in a funny way that your private pilots (pre)-registration is maybe not the way to go here!
