The Oz Report's Oz weather page focuses on the forecasts and the observations of most interest to hang and paraglider glider pilots. This includes the XC Skies Cross Country Soaring forecasts (subscription required) and the Regional Atmospheric Soaring Predictions (Dr. Jack's RASPs) for the three eastern states.

Nationally a four day forecast of the pressure chart is provided, as are the latest satellite images.

For Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, the weather page links to local hang gliding site and regional forecasts, coastal winds for Newcastle and Stanwell, and the latest local radar observations.

I keep the clutter to a minimum, while making it easy for you to get additional information if needed. I've been doing hang gliding weather forecasting for years and have chosen the kind of tools that I keep going to again and again.

As I look at the forecasts for lift on Monday afternoon, things look pretty darn good.
