This years XI Canarian open hang gliding championships is all set to be as huge a success as last years.

The championships will take place on the Canarian island of Lanzarote between the 3rd and 8th of December 2007. Lanzarote, being as far south as you can go and still be in Europe, has the very best and most reliable winter flying conditions in Europe. The beautiful and dramatic island landscape offers great flying for almost any wind direction in dependable sunny and thermic conditions.

Members of the Austrian flying team will be in attendance again this year as will Francesch Vinas the Spanish champion.

This contest has been running for over 10 years with experienced professional organisation and a grand finale presentation party on the evening of the 8th of December.

All are welcome to enjoy some great winter flying and the warm Lanzarote atmosphere.
