A few weeks ago, as we were en route to flying, a big branch fell on the front windscreen and snapped off the car phone aerial. There's an unexplained dent in the rear bumper and a white scuff.

In the early hours of this morning, there was a god awful racket in the carport. Was someone trying to steal our car? No.

"Shoo!" Didn't work. "SHOO, GO ON GET!!!!!" Didn't work either. I reached out very carefully, mindful of those 3cm sharp claws, and patted its head and let it be. Wow. But I haven't been game to look at the bonnet yet.
