The aim is to cross from Recife to Lencois Maranhenses (one of the most famous and beautiful Brazilian national parks) by hang glider and paraglider, traveling 1080km, during seven days of flying, taking-off from seven different sites.

The "Route 1080" will be the biggest free-flying rally in the World.

The tasks will be of RACE between the cities, that's why its called "Race & Rally".

The Brazilian Sertão is a very well known all over the world as the "Cross Country Paradise". One of the best and most constant places to make long distance flights. The local records are 436km for Hang Gliders and 380km for Paragliders. Another very important data, is that in 12 years of Xceará, 7 out 7 tasks in a row were flown during all this years !
