I finally arrived today to my home and as I have a decent internet connection I could put up 137 small resolution pictures of the Colombian Nationals on my space at http://danielvelezbravo.spaces.live.com.
 
I also have published the final results on the same place and probably they will be up tomorrow on the two other unofficial websites for the meet.
 
The fourth and last flyable task that took place yesterday was probably a bad call for the task committee, as the day was really bad and we got an ugly tail wind just as almost everyone took off. The first turn point was 1.8 km from the take off but on top of the mountain where the tailwind was blowing down on a nasty rotor.  Only three pilots (Alejandro Isaza, Mike Glennon and me) after struggling for a while took that first turn point, and from those only Mike and I were able to get away from the downdraft into the valley and out of the minimum distance score.

After we got out to the valley with three pilots that actually couldn't get close enough to the 400 mts radius of the first turn point, the day got easier and we made it around the task. At the end, I could not get enough points to make up for a big mistake I made on the second task, so I came up second following the new Colombian Champion, Mike Glennon, who did great on the four tasks.
 
Probably I would be putting up some comments on the meet on the upcoming days, for the Wills Wing site, as I'm pretty happy with my T2 144 glider.
