Version 2.24 for the 5030/Compeo and version 1.18 for 5020/Competino have been officially released. The new firmware has some new features, some improvements to existing features, as well as some bug fixes. We have seeded it with several pilots for several months and have received no negative reports. A list of the changes and the updated firmware is available:

McCready audio deadband shown in thermal averager ring New user field: L/D required to goal New user field: Cross track error - shows perpendicular distance to the active leg of a route. Additional speed off-set (user selectable0-10km/h) to correct for the slower airflow under the wing New flight acceptance: If GPS is active, flight recording will begin after 60s of GPS Speed >10km/h or a change in altitude greater than 30m.
