You can't hold him back. Now that the Oz Report World Wide Site Guide is a Google Mapplet (you can activate it, see here: http://ozreport.com/11.137#0) you can enter a location and find the nearby sites. You can also do this in the Google Earth version of the site guide. This is an easy way to find yourself around the world and get to the sites that you are most interested in.

The Site Guide has always been accessible through online Google Maps on The Oz Report (no Google Earth program required), but this new method lets users easily combine it with other things that they've selected for displaying on their maps. The biggest advantage is for pilots traveling without their own computer or internet connection: just use your Google login on any other web-connected computer, go to the maps, and you can find the flying sites nearest to you, and contacts for them and other information about them.

Gerry has now added the capability to add your site through our Google Mapplet. Please feel free to do so.
