Heavy thunderstorms and high winds today in central Michigan. Likewise lots of rain in central Texas with more on the way. Big Spring seems to be keeping reasonable dry, and soil moisture content is low there, but the areas around Uvalde, San Angelo, Carrizo Springs, Austin, and the hill country seem to be getting blasted as a low pressure system continues over the state.
