"nwspeck" writes with respect to the recent article in the USHPA magazine regarding a paraglider flight from Blanchard:

Gee, I really liked that article in the mag about Matty's flight from Blanchard last month until I got to the part about hang's always sinkin' out and Para's skying out. Delusional.

The funny thing is that I flew thirteen miles farther than Matty an hour later that same day and flew right under those "scary clouds". Not so scary in a hang glider. And instead of landing at the Boarder Patrol Headquarters I opted to land at the North Fork Brewery on my way back from Canada.
