New Brazilian and South American Hang Gliding Record

Yesterday, October 10, Brazilian pilot Glauco Pinto broke both the
Brazilian and South-American records, taking off from Tacima Takeoff in the
state of Paraiba on his Laminar 14.1 and landing 619 straight kilometers out
near Poranga, in the State of Ceará.
I don't have many details as the pilot has been a little bit off the grid for
the last day, but I know he took off at about 7:25 am and landed sometime
between 6 and 6:30pm.
In flight photo from when he was over flying the ramp just after take-off,
notice the already well-formed clouds at 7:30 in the morning.
At 385 miles that would be the longest hang gliding foot launched
flight.
