Before the Wills Wing Demo Days at Wallaby last spring I made a
set of Loops out of Spectra microline 1500lb test. My idea was to be able to
quickly and easily adjust a demo glider hang strap to the best length for me. I
cut pieces from 2 ft to 5 ft in 6 in increments then finger trapped the splice
inside to yield two layers and three at the crossover finish. The result is
seven loops from 4.5 to 13 inches very strong (3000lb plus) and compact. It is
even easy to extend the backup strap with the next longer loop.

Bob sent some of his loops in to be tested, which is why he knows
that they are so strong.
