The validation engine is not yet the little engine that could. Martin Petz at
the HOLC has been responsive to my questions and is likely making the validation
engine "not effective," whatever that means. Hopefully he will understand my
other concerns (I did send him and everyone else there pictures), and address
them also.



I checked out the HOLC late on Wednesday night, and it looks like Martin has got
the validation engine working with the Flytec 5030 and the Brauniger Compeo
again. Most the pilots using these instruments have had their flights restored.
I don't see that happening yet to Walter Mayer from Austria.
