Friday and Saturday the skies were filled with truly outstanding
cu's, but the winds were out of the east northeast. Still it was quite soarable
and pilots did fly. On a race day during the competitions it would have been a
perfectly valid day. We might have flown to the west coast with a cross wind
turnpoint first to the north.



Sunday was mostly blue, with 600 fpm lift. Pilots flew, Campbell the most in his
ATOS VXR. He said it was fine in the air with smooth lift 15 mph out of the east
northeast.



Looks like I'm getting a glider cover from Marilyn ()
for my borrowed Wills Wing T2 - 144. She makes great covers (I'll take some
shots soon). People love them. They really do keep out the UV unlike many other
covers.



New tugs coming together. Jamie is cranking it out as the meet organizer for the
Flytec meets. Rhett is now a certified flight instructor for light sport
aircraft. Russell is now a commercially licensed helicopter pilot. Others are
getting their private pilot's licenses and sailplane licenses.



The whole place is looking great with lots of green grass (without much rain
lately). The pond has new float toys, and the camping area is in good shape.
