On Line Contests (OLC's), DHV's Leonardo

... Why not join in the fun? ...

I figured it would be easy to upload all my flights to the DHV version of
Leonardo so why not. There didn't seem to be any wall that was keeping out
pilots from other countries. I saw that Austrian and German pilots were
represented there. Besides I'm half German anyway.

I uploaded all twenty one flights in one zip file and they all loaded up after I
registered (and changed my settings to display English). I did have to register
in German which wasn't too hard. I did have to go back into each flight and
change the hang glider designation and some of the take off locations, just as I
had to earlier with the Leonardo version on the Paragliding Forum. The take-offs
are not shared between Leonardo installation apparently. I wonder about the
Leonardo site guide.

There doesn't seem to be one central Leonardo installation and there are just a
series of equally valid Leonardo's. There are different contests on the DHV
version, and I noticed that the German National Ranking contest didn't include
me or Lukas Bader or Ollie, as all of us had our flights outside of Germany. But
we were all represented in the OLC contest on the DHV Leonardo site.

This is one way to get around the Leonardo islands, put your flights on all of
them. Easy to do as long as you have a fast internet connection.
