Rumor has it that it's the embattled John Smith, but as we all know, he's been
banned from flying. It does appear to be his glider. The mask makes
identification impossible. He landed in front of a large crowd at "flight park"
(the landing field) that was gathered for an evening lecture and video
presentation (myself included). He limped off the field and behind the buildings
not to be seen again.
Oh, Extreme Air is the company I work for over here, that's Lisa Bradley
(co-owner) leading the Gimp out of the van.
I was first off the mountain that night, the footage is from a friend of mine. I
passed him a few times on the ridge and was there when he landed. I wish I'd had
a camera ;) It was quite the show.
