I can't figure out what Godfrey is saying and he won't tell me
what it means. Maybe you can figure it out for me. Notice above that Godfrey has
access to ten track logs of paraglider pilots including Ewa who were near the
cu-nimb that sucked up Ewa and He Zhong Pin and has been displaying them.


I asked Godfrey to share Ewa's track log. Readers have been asking me to publish
it so that they could learn from it. Of course, sharing all ten track logs with
a wider public than the one at Godfrey's place in Manilla would be even more
useful (hey, a video of the whole scene would even be better). I
paraphrase Godfrey below, only because I haven't asked for his permission to
publish what he wrote to me.

Ewa's track log and animation are embargoed until further notice.
This also goes for He Zhong Pin's track log.

Godfrey wrote on the paragliding forum:

At this stage I will not make any further public comment or
analysis on this as Ewa is currently in the middle of quite large media
negotiations.

Godfrey further wrote to me that he is looking after Ewa's
interests. That she was on CNN and various other media outlets. That her story
and the track logs will be in the media eye at some stage.


Does this mean that he is acting as her agent and selling her story to the
media? Maybe, but he doesn't come right out and say that. Just hints at it as
though it should somehow be understood.


I guess we'll find out in the future. Godfrey is an interesting person.


Late update: Godfrey confirms that he is acting as her agent and negotiating to
sell her story including the track logs and the animation to a large media outlet (or
more than one) for a large amount of money.
