We're here in Gulgong at the Henry Lawson Caravan Park (and poetry reading) to take part in the 2007 Gulgong Classic. Scott Barrett is on board with us. The meet is filling up and we had a sweet day of practice as we avoided the cu-nimbs in the area.
There have been local cu-nimbs for the past two days... mehr

We are here to have a great time and we are having it. The tugs are pulling us up fast, the lift is there. The winds are light. The cui-nimbs don't form until very late in the day. Most pilots make it back to goal.

They launched at 7:30 AM. and landed at dark.
Frank Brown, Ceceu (Marcelo Prieto) and Sardinha (Rafael Saladini) all landed at the same spot.
Marcelo flew 414 km there at the end of last month, to set the Brazilian record.... mehr
