fly comp tasks and expand your capabilities? Then the 2011 Mount Magazine Air
Races are ready for you.

The Mount Magazine Air Races are staged from Mount Magazine State Park, our
premier Mountain Launch in the Ouachita Mountains.

Event is open to H4. H3, P4, P3 pilots. Open for Rigid, Flex, and Para, all
going for top three positions to be awarded at the end of the soaring season.

Entry fee is $20.00 and you can come and fly any day to do one of the tasks, or
participate in one of our many "Called Days" where "Wispy", our Task Master will
"Call" the event to be done for that day.

As the name suggests, these are timed races. Shortest times win. Three defined
tasks with a start, two turnpoints and a goal. Tracklogs will be scored using
the FsComp program. You will need a GPS and must have the means to send your
tracklogs to be scored. You can make multiple attempts at each task. Your best
flight for a task will be scored with the other pilot's best flight for that
task. The points you make from each task will be added up and used for the final
scoring of all the participating pilots. The top three pilots get an award. Get
