On our way to Australia, we got diverted to Nadi airport in Fiji after a medical emergency on the airplane. The airport was a bit short for the A380 but we landed there anyway. The airport was a bit small for the plane, but after hanging out on the runway for quite a while we got a jet port.

On landing a light came on in the cockpit that wasn't supposed to come on but there were no engineers for A380's in Fiji, so they had to fly one in from Sydney. The crew timed out and so we all stayed the night. They sent a 747 for us at night and took off the next morning at 5 AM.

The Airbus A380 was one week old.
