The girls go flying

The response to the Women's Hang Gliding Festival has been amazing, and over forty women pilots are coming to Lookout to fly together September 25-28. There will be fun flying and fun flying tasks, clinics with Claire Vassort, a launching and landing clinic on the training hills, and reduced priced tandems and training hill classes.
Tandems and training hill classes are on a reservation system.

We're also excited to announce that Steve Pearson from Wills Wing is bringing gliders to the Festival for pilots to Demo. Steve Pearson, co-owner and glider designer for Wills Wing since the 1970's, will be on hand to answer your questions. This is your chance to discuss glider design, glider tuning, proper glider selection and flying technique. Many of you may not know Steve as he has been primarily behind the scenes designing and testing the latest awesome flying machines. Steve is a wealth of knowledge and an outstanding pilot in his own right with huge flying experience.
Check out www.hanglide.com for info about the Festival and Demo Days. If you still haven't registered, please do so. It is only $25 and includes mountain flying, clinics, the welcome reception and the Festival tee shirt designed by Claire Vassort.
