I am very sad to inform you that Stephan Nitsch passed away last 9th august 2008, after a long illness. My condolences to his family and friends.

Stephan was the master making replicas of the wings of Otto Lilienthal, as well as a great inventor and engineer. He also wrote a book about the history of free flight, which was published recently. It is a great loss for the community of free flight.
