It started out windy in the morning and has been windy all day, despite the forecast for light winds. 13 mph, gusting to 22 mph. There were a few cu's over the mountains east of highway 395, and where all the launches are other than Hadley's Butte to the north. Cu's way across the valley to the west and none over the valley.

It's been quite hot here, above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Combined with the high winds, it does not look like a pleasant place to fly. It looks like it will be cooling down a bit.

The winds are supposed to turn around by Sunday, the first day of the meet, to be south southwest, with a chance of showers. So there should be clouds.
