The other day I praised Kraig Coomber for his great support for a pilot flying a Wills Wing glider (me) and the whole point was to be positive about the great people we have in our sport. What I didn't mention, because I couldn't, was that Rob Kells would have been here to support us, but couldn't because he and Trish had gone to Austria for one last attempt to recover from the disease that was eating him up inside.

Rob has gone out of his way to support the competition pilots (as well as all the pilots) and we were happy to have him (and Kraig) at the Big Spring competitions. We sorely missed him this year and wish that he had been in a position to come and enjoy the delights of Big Spring.

We very much miss Rob and everyone here was very sorry to hear the news about his demise.
