Spanish Nationals

From the 18th to the 26th of July the Spanish Hang Gliding Nationals took place at Arangoiti, close to the Pyrenees. The meet was an Open and a FAI Second Category event, so pilots from any country were welcome.
Arangoiti is renown for its huge gaggles of griffon vultures sharing thermals with pilots. The sleek Egyptian vulture and the awesome lammergeyer are also regularly seen soaring the beautiful ridges of the area. More information here.
This is the final results for the first ten pilots. Congratulations to our new Spain Champion JOSE A. ABOLLADO and for the great result of BLAY JR, only 18 years old!
