Big Spring (and west Texas) is booming (high oil prices, the need to build windmills, and rebuilding the oil refinery). 120 rigs in the RV park. It's packed here. There is a block of rooms set aside for the hang glider pilots at the former Whitten Inn.

The sky has been glorious for the last two days. Beautiful cu's every where. No OD today at all. Much better conditions than we got at the Worlds last year, so far.
