Zapata Weather Observations

The hurricane killed the WRE. The weather pattern that we count on, that was so great before the hurricane, has not returned, and we get blue days with an inversion.

We had a bit of over running this morning, but with dry air above it, it quickly dried out.

I had everything out on the tarmac for a late (10:30 AM) start, hoping the the popping cu's would build. Instead they stopped.
