Umpteenth Annual Festival Of Free Flight
Mark Webber <<email>> writes:
Lakeview Oregon finally got some warm weather. I've been tossing pilots off mountains every other day trying to find some thermal activity. We got some Wednesday (6/18/2008). One more week of sunlight and things will be normal.
This is a FUN fly-in and we strive for repeat customers.
A few additions this year are:
Paper airplane folding folding contest at launch. Bring your best design, but you have to use my paper. Prize is $20. "Plant a Barbie" bomb drop. Prior to the spot landing contest, best "plant" will get a boobie prize. A doll with no clothes on is the most aerodynamic.
With the good weather comes many other "fair weather" projects. I've started a new mural (20 feet by 200 feet).
