My take on the Moyes Malibu
Gerolf told me that he wanted to create a great dune soaring glider, one that could stay up in lighter conditions that was the case with the Airborne Fun. This would extend the conditions that allowed for pilots to have a good soar at the beach. Also he wanted higher performance at the top end with better penetration in higher winds.
Of course, he needed the glider to also to have great handling so that you could have a safe time in strong conditions at the beach, as well as be safe if you're a new pilot just learning to fly.
He's worked a long time on this glider and we've reported on it earlier. It would be lovely to see Cl and Cd curves. A side by side comparison against the Fun or the Falcon or the curved tip Northwing Freedom
