Telluride, it can buy the leisure zone

Telluride's position on the condemnation of the Valley Floor was upheld today by the Colorado Supreme Court in a 6-1 decision. This is the last legal hurdle in the way of permanently preserving the Valley Floor forever. The Foundation made a $10,000 donation in support of the effort, which raised over $50 million to meet the court-determined purchase price. In return for that investment, the Valley Floor will have a permanent easement which specifically names hang gliding and paragliding as protected uses for the land.
This is huge. 2000-to-one leverage on the money we donated, for a permanent conservation easement that protects our right to land at Telluride. This keeps a historical site open and viable!
