Big Spring is a great place to fly a rigid! Big altitude gains, big thermals, big tasks, big LZ's everywhere. Rigids launch half an hour or more before the flex wings so we are able to avoid launch line jousting and death gaggles that can make competitions stressful. If you have never competed, I guarantee that one week of flying at Big Spring will advance your flying skills well beyond more than a season of recreational flying.

Space will be limited at Big Spring as David doesn't want to have every tug pilot in the nation have to commit to coming and towing you up. So you had better sign up soon.
