Once again with wheels

In my bid to convert the world.
Last July, I broke my arm crash landing. Nine month on, I got my first flight back on the hang glider and took a little cross country here in St Andre. Great take-off and even better landing in the new official cross country LZ at La Mure which is peachy smooth.

The confidence wheels gave to my little cross country flight was positive. My old (minor) fears of landing out all gone.
I should have been flying with wheels years ago... This past 9 months have been a real pain. I now have a banana shaped arm, less than perfect motion and some ripping scars and a plate that's still got to come out.
My landings were always top notch. St Andre can be challenging - not even a bent upright here in five years. Then there is that freak incident that hits us all once in a blue moon. On the day, my mate Colin coasted in on his base bar with wheels, while I whacked in and took the trip to hospital.
Fellas, it simply is not worth the lost flying time, agro, pain and cost.
