The results
Attila landed sixty kilometers short of goal when he left the lead gaggle that was going up at 800 fpm. There were plenty of clouds ahead so I wonder what he missed. Jonny Durand, Jr. is in first without having won a single task. His best finish was second on one task. I've finish higher than him on one task. He usually finishes in the top ten.
The forecast and the lack of cu's slowed the launch yesterday. We were circling in the blue until after 3 PM. The temperature turned out to be two degrees higher than the forecast (38 instead of 36), so that's what it took late in the afternoon to get the clouds to show up.
Looks like we'll have a great final day.
