On Thursday morning, a day late as Belinda missed her flight from Seattle, we left Cloud 9 and headed south southeast toward Big Spring and the 2007 Worlds. We are very much going to miss the wonderful hospitality shown to us by our hosts Tracy and Lisa at Cloud 9. Michigan is beautiful in the summer and I've been able to ride my bike each evening down a dirt road with little to no traffic.

Cloud 9 is absolutely the best flight park in the country, but don't come here in January. There is lots of great flying here in the summer and early fall. Camping at no cost. Scooter tow instruction is available as are tandem flights. The best equipped pilot lounge in the business.

The country side is gorgeous and it is so quiet all day and night. We're on a dirt country road.

Take a vacation and come to central Michigan. You won't regret it.
