It's a site record. I was down to a couple hundred feet five minutes into the flight. I went back to eight thousand feet.
I was flying with Packumup, Pete Varanavich. It was his second cross country flight. Pete is a hang three and is also flying an ATOS. He landed seventy miles out from launch. We were buddy flying and were in the air over seven hours
At one point I was at 8800' trying to stay out of the clouds. A couple of clouds earlier I was stuck in the wispies at 8400' with the bar stuffed. Amazing flight.
Sharon, our amazing driver, was there waiting for Pete to land and found me as soon as I was broke down.
