Jeff (who is in the lead by approximately 500 points) continues to lead after coming in second a few minutes behind Jonny Durand on the fifth task. There are two more tasks, Friday and Saturday.

Jeff O'Brien didn't qualify for the US team flying next month at the Worlds and presently he is beating Jonny (currently ranked number eight in the World and recently ranked first) handily. Jeff is currently ranked twenty ninth in the World, number two among US pilots.
