Corinna reports:
If pilots can't fly, they get bored and start discussing flights and decisions of the previous days. So the Dutch team decided to complain about Wolfgangs decision to cancel day 4 instead of stopping it.
The Dutch came up with a new idea to equalize the disadvantages of the different start gates, especially the mandatory 2nd start gate for the top 30. Together with the team leaders this matter was discussed last night, in the end Wolfgang did not change the result, the day was still invalid.
Today we have low clouds, moisture in the air and sometimes on the ground, so it looks like we might get an early award ceremony today. After 3 valid tasks, Oleg is in the lead, ahead of Primoz and Andreas Olsson, the Austrian team is ranked 1st, the Swiss 2nd and we are 3rd. In the women's ranking, Natalia Petrova from Russia is 1st, I'm 2nd and Monique 3rd.
The schedule has the competition going through Sunday with Sunday (the 24th) as a reserve competition day. Seems like this is the circumstances where you would want a reserve day. Maybe it looks bad for tomorrow also. Discuss pre-Europeans at the Oz Report forum
