Apparently I crashed the paraglider during a World Cup race in
Disentis on August 19. "Apparently", because I have no memories from the day.
On Tuesday evening I took my godchild to the train station in Disentis, on
Sunday I came back to me at the cantonal hospital Chur. The time in between is
non-existent for me.

After 5 days in ICU (3 of them in an artificial coma to leave my spinal cord
alone), 3 surgeries and then two weeks in the general department, I was moved to
the rehab clinic in Bellikon yesterday. This is where I'm supposed to regain my
autonomy as far as possible in the next 5 weeks. The foot on the right, the
thigh on the left, a vertebral body, several ribs, the sternum, and the little
finger on the right. The forecasts are very good, although the progress of the
last few weeks for an impatient like me very slowly but steadily in the right
direction.

I am very happy about visiting, visiting hours are 17-22 am during the week, and
9-22 pm on weekends. Unfortunately, visitation also makes me very tired, so we
have created a small plan where you can register and which should help
distribute the visits a bit:
